Education and Experience

Katelynn is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who has experience working with children, teens, couples and adults.
Katelynn holds an undergraduate degree in psychology and attended Concordia University to obtain a Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapies.
Katelynn has also completed the following training:
- Emotion-Focussed Therapy (EFT) – Level 1 and 2
- Gottman Couples Therapy – Level 1 and 2
- Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment
- Advanced Skills in Sex Therapy
Counselling Specialities
Katelynn offers therapy to children, teens, adults and couples who want to better understand and regulate their emotions. She is passionate about helping people explore their unique experiences, thoughts and feelings.
Katelyn is particularly interested in supporting clients to navigate ADHD challenges. She is proud to work with members of the LGBTQ2+ communities.

Katelynn believes by cultivating safety in our bodies, relationships and environments, we connect more fully to our innate strengths and resilience.
With compassion, creativity and a deep respect for each person’s process, Katelynn supports clients to navigate their life’s challenges, opening space for new insights, possibilities and paths forward.
Counselling Approach
Katelynn uses a range of therapies to create a space that is personalized and responsive to each individual’s needs.
- Creative Art Therapies – drawing, painting, sculpting – verbal and non-verbal exploration
- Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients challenge negative thinking patterns and think more realistically
- Trauma informed Sensory Processing
- Emotion Focussed Therapy – exploration of unmet attachment needs and effective caregiver or partner responses
Katelynn regularly collaborates with other professionals including teachers, psychologists, family doctors, and occupational therapists who are involved in her clients’ care.
Personal Background
Having grown up in both a split and blended household, Katelynn understands the importance of balance, belonging, and stability. Her life experiences have shaped a deep appreciation for resilience and compassion. Katelynn also brings personal insight to the impact of both mental health challenges and neurodiversity within families. She understands how draining these experiences can be, the barriers that often stand in the way of healing, and the profound relief that can come from hope and self-compassion.
Katelynn has had the gift of living across various parts of the U.S. and Canada, nurturing a love of hiking, painting, and interior design. She is also an avid tea enthusiast, reader, and video game player. Katelynn enjoys quiet evenings with her husband and their husky, Paco.
